Natasha completed her beauty therapy training in New Zealand 2007, followed by CIDESCO accreditation- the world’s prestigious qualification for aesthetics and beauty therapy.
She started her career working in New Zealand before moving to Townsville where she has been working the last 11 years with a few years off in between having her 2 children who are now both at school.
Natasha has worked with many skin conditions and modalities to maintain and improve skin health.
She loves being able to utilize different modalities like peels, LED, masks or needling to achieve the best result for the skin.
The secret lies in the attention to detail and listening to what her clients need. Seeing their happiness and satisfaction is her motivation and she can't wait to help you achieve the look you want.

Tracey has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years now…. “a lot has changed since I first begun, I started when my eldest girl was 2 years old. I wanted give my daughter a role model to show her you can be whatever you want to be when you grow up! As this is what I wanted to do all my life, to make people happy and feel good about themselves. Two more daughters later, has given me heaps of reasons to keep up with this revolving industry, and to show them naturally how beautiful they are. I am very lucky to also share this with my friends and clients in the salon. It makes me so happy when I see the smile on their faces and I know I have done my job to the best of my ability. Georgie has been a qualified beauty therapist for 5 years and has loved every moment of it. She loves making people feel relaxed and helping clients reach their skin goals.
She has a passion for explaining her client’s what is happening with their skin and finding ways to help and improve their skin, so they are their most comfortable self in their own skin. I’ve always loved waxing but since starting at Balance Beauty and Massage it’s opened my eyes to the power of my hands and how it can make my clients feel. So, from this body treatments are now definitely my favourits.
My favorite treatment at Balance Beauty and Massage is the rejuvenate package which is 1 hour and 45 mins of pampering. This package involves warm coconut milk drizzled over the body then a sprinkling of crushed sugar rubbed in till the sugar melts to a honey consistency. This is then removed with hot towels and we then moisturize the whole body with coconut butter. This deeply nourishes and repairs the skin. This amazing treatment if finished off with a hydrating facial. It’s a head to toe pampering, how could you not love it!

Justin has had a fascination with biology and how the body works from a young age. This drove him to want to learn as much as he could about anatomy and physiology. He has been a massage therapist for over 10 years and recently gained qualification in dry needling. Justin specialises in patients living with chronic conditions/disease as well as patients suffering acute episodes of pains and dysfunction.
ALICE
Beauty therapist Apprentice
Meet Alice is our first school-based apprentice. Alice has completed her Cert II in Beauty and is qualified in facial waxing and tinting and Makeup.
Alice will be working in the salon on Wednesdays and Saturdays in 2024 as she completes year 12 at St Margaret Mary’s College. Alice will then join our team full time while she completes her diploma in beauty therapy.
